Medication

The appropriate medication can help individuals find relief from their symptoms. We will create a plan together to determine your ideal medication needs, and create a clearly defined treatment plan. Working together with clients is key to successful medication management during the trial phase, follow-up and tapering off of medications if indicated. 

Therapy

Therapy is used to help cope with many different challenges, including learning ways to manage a mental disorder. Others use counseling to help them address other difficulties, such as the death of a loved one, job loss, anger concerns, family planning, weight loss, or significant life changes.

Our Approach

Clinicians at Well-Minded Healthcare wholeheartedly believe in a collaborative decision-making process with clients. The goal is for each person to gain the knowledge and tools necessary for reaching his or her highest potential and alleviate suffering. The purpose of the therapeutic process is to assist each person in improving important aspects of life. A person is meant to feel whole, feel the joy in life, and successfully navigate life’s challenges. Clinicians strive to ensure that every client understands that they are not defined by their mental illness, and any symptoms experienced are not a shortcoming, failure, or due to lack of effort to feel better on their part. The providers works to help each client recognize their worth. Together with clients we aim to help create a future that allows reduction of symptoms and improved functioning. As a client, an initial appointment will take 60 minutes, and is centered on getting to know you as a person, your needs, your history, and establishing an initial treatment plan. Subsequent follow up visits consist of ongoing therapeutic support and medication checkups with adjustments being made as needed.
